The exact address for your photo session will be provided with your booking confirmation.
In the event of inclement weather, such as rain for outdoor shoots, the photographer will not proceed with the session and will reschedule at no additional cost. For indoor shoots, if weather advisories indicate unsafe road conditions, rescheduling may also occur at the photographer’s discretion
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve all photoshoots. The non-refundable deposit amount of $100 must be paid in advance to secure the booking. The deposit serves to secure the appointment time and ensure the commitment of the client.
Out of respect for our photographers and other customers, any changes to your session must be made three (3) days prior to your session, to avoid loss of $100 deposit fee. This includes cancellations and reschedules to a future date. If you do not show up for your session or you cancel or reschedule after 8pm local time the day before your session, you agree to forfeit your $100 non-refundable deposit.
You can easily cancel or reschedule your session via the self-manage page (link found in your booking confirmation email). You may also email create@powercouplemedia.com. Please note that in the case that you reschedule or cancel after the timeframe listed above, you will forfeit your $100 non-refundable deposit.
Please note that tardiness to your session start time will result in a forfeiture of the allotted time. The session will proceed using only the remaining time available.

HOW THIS WORKS
1. TAKE A LOOK AROUND
There are dozens of Cincinnati photographers out there and some of the best feedback I get is that my clients have spent hours looking at photographers and they CHOSE ME. I love working with clients who know what they want, know what’s out there, and they choose to work with me.
2. BOOK ONLINE
The easiest way to get on my calendar is to book through my online booking system. There is a $100 deposit that will be applied to the total balance due. That will secure a date and we can start the planning process.
3. PHONE CONSULTATION
I’ll confirm your appointment and we can plan a time to discuss all the details and go over any questions you have. This might include: Location ideas (see here), outfits, what to bring, how to prepare.
4. TAKE AMAZING PHOTOS
This is the big day and we’ll make sure you’re ready for it. My shoots are typically casual and fun and we’ll wander around our chosen location watching for good light and nice backgrounds.
5. FINAL PAYMENT
Payment is due after your shoot and I will send you an invoice to be paid by credit card or ACH. You can also bring cash to the shoot or pay via Venmo or Paypal.
6. CURATION & DELIVERY
After the shoot, I’ll begin curating your gallery of images and begin my signature editing process. Your edited photos will be delivered 7-10 days after the shoot via an online gallery where you can access and download them all!

HOW DO I CHOOSE A LOCATION FOR THE SHOOT?
I have page of my favorite Cincinnati photoshoot locations page and we can talk about this on our consultation call. I’m open to other ideas and suggestions, too. Most locations within 30 minutes of Cincinnati are available for most sessions. I also shoot in parts of Kentucky, such as Florence, KY for an additional fee.
WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST?
Lighting is best right after sunrise or about 90 minutes before sunset. Evenings are best for park/outdoor shoots. Urban shoots can be good both in the morning and evenings.
IS THE DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
Yes. If you are rescheduling, it will get applied to the rescheduled appointment. For cancellations (without reschedule) within one week of the shoot, the deposit is non-refundable.
HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY THE BALANCE?
I will send you a Square invoice after our photoshoot for you to pay the balance via credit card. You may also pay by cash in-person.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DIGITAL FILES?
No, my pricing structure is “all-inclusive”, meaning that the photoshoot and the digital images are included in the price you see. Some photographers offer a super low price for the shoot, and then charge you for photo packages and digitals.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS?
Normal turnaround time is about 7-10 days for the initial gallery of edited images. Busy season (Summer-Fall) turnaround time is 10-14 days. Retouching will take an additional 3-4 days.
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I RECEIVE?
It depends on the package you choose. This is listed in the package info when booking.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDITING AND RETOUCHING?
Editing includes basic edits and adjustments to exposure, contrast, coloring, and the overall general look and feel to the image. This is included in every photo that is delivered to you. Retouching is the process of removing blemishes and skin or hair detail that is unwanted. Depending on the session you book, you’ll select a certain number of photos to be retouched, if necessary.
HOW MANY OUTFITS CAN I BRING?
For family/group photos, I’d suggest only one or maybe two. It just gets chaotic and eats up a lot of time if it’s a group of people. For individual portraits, bring as many as you want and we can try to squeeze in as many as we can within the session. See the packages on the booking page for guidance on that. For example, the Mini Session is about 30 minutes and is usually best for one outfit. But if you are quick and efficient at changing, sometimes we can squeeze in two.
WHERE DO I CHANGE OUTFITS?
Depending on location, you may have to change in your car or pop into a restroom and change. It’s just the nature of doing photoshoots outside and in cool or interesting places.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING PHOTOGRAPHY?
I got my first camera in 2012 and started out shooting corporate events and weddings. In 2014 my wife and I co-founded a web & creative media studio, Power Couple Media Group, where I have been a full-time photographer ever since.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot with a mirrorless Canon R5. My go-to lenses are the 85mm prime and the 24-70 2.8.
HOW FAR OUT SHOULD I BOOK A SESSION?
During Spring, Summer, Fall, I recommend booking 1-2 months out.
HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?
Easy! To book a session online using my online booking platform.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
Weather in Cincinnati can vary and I know life can be unpredictable at times, so rescheduling is okay. Shoots canceled and not rescheduled are subject to losing the deposit, if canceled within one week or less of the photoshoot.
CAN I GET THE RAW / NON EDITED PHOTOS?
Usually, no.
DO YOU SHOOT WEDDINGS?
We shoot weddings and small elopements.

Yes! I’m all for having a support crew.
CAN I BRING MY DOG MEMBER TO MY SESSION?
Yes. But they will be difficult. Have a plan for them after we get a few good ones.
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE CINCINNATI AREA?
Yes. I will travel most places, with a travel fee included if outside of 45 minutes of Cincinnati. We can discuss over the phone.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
I’ll send you a link and password to a digital gallery where you can download them all. They will be in JPEG format.
